These terms cover buying from AsianFresh Retail Ltd. Plain English wherever possible — if anything is unclear, ask us and we will explain it.
Who we are
AsianFresh Retail Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales, trading
from Unit 4, Barking Industrial Park, London IG11 0AD. In these terms
"we", "us" and "our" mean AsianFresh Retail Ltd, and "you" means the person
placing the order.
Placing an order
Adding items to your basket and paying is an offer to buy. A contract is
formed when we send you an order confirmation. If something you ordered turns
out to be unavailable — the catch changes daily — we will tell you and refund
that item in full.
You must be 18 or over to place an order.
Prices and weight
Prices include VAT where it applies. Fresh fish and meat are sold by weight
and cut to order: the price shown is for the stated pack size, and the final
charge is based on the weight after cleaning. Small variations
either way are normal; if a pack comes in under, we refund the difference.
Delivery charges are set per delivery area, and each area also has a minimum
order value and an order value above which delivery is free. The figures that
apply to your postcode and your chosen slot are shown at checkout before you pay,
and those are the ones that form part of your contract. Our
Delivery areas page lists the current figures for
each area, but the checkout is the authority.
Delivery
We deliver only to postcodes inside a published delivery area. If yours is
outside them we will tell you before you have a basket, and the order cannot be
placed.
We deliver to the address you give us in the slot you choose. Chilled and
frozen items are handed over in person and never left unattended. If nobody is
in, the order returns with the driver and we will contact you to rebook; a
second failed attempt may be charged.
Slot times are estimates. We will always tell you if a delivery is running
late, but we cannot accept liability for consequential loss caused by a delay.
Cancellations and refunds
You can cancel any order before it is dispatched for a full refund.
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, fresh food that is liable to
deteriorate quickly, and items cut or prepared to your specification, are
exempt from the 14-day cooling-off period. This does not affect your right to a
refund if goods are faulty, misdescribed or not of satisfactory quality. See
our Returns & refunds page for how we handle it in
practice — which is more generous than the law requires.
Allergens and product information
We take allergen labelling seriously, but ingredients and packaging change.
Always read the label on the product itself before use and do not rely solely
on the website. If you have a severe allergy, contact us before ordering.
Fish is handled on a counter that also handles shellfish and crustaceans.
Your account
Keep your password to yourself and tell us at once if you think someone else
has used your account. We may suspend an account we reasonably believe is being
used fraudulently.
Our liability
We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our
negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Otherwise our liability for any order is limited to the value of that order.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the version published when you place your order is
the one that applies. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales
and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
