To take payment, pack and deliver your order, answer your messages, prevent fraud, meet our food-safety and tax obligations, and — only if you asked for it — send you the daily catch list and offers.
Our lawful bases are performance of a contract (your order), legal obligation (records we must keep), consent (marketing) and legitimate interests (fraud prevention and improving the shop).
Only those who need it to deliver your order: our payment provider, our delivery partners, and the suppliers who host and support this site. They act on our instructions and cannot use your data for their own purposes. We may also disclose data where the law requires it. We never sell your data.
Order and transaction records are kept for seven years to satisfy UK tax law. Account details are kept while your account is open and for two years after it goes quiet. Marketing consent is kept until you withdraw it.
You can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or move it elsewhere, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can withdraw marketing consent at any time using the unsubscribe link or by messaging us.
We respond within one month. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
We only send the catch list and offers to people who asked for them. Every message carries a one-click unsubscribe, and unsubscribing never affects your ability to order.
Data is held on servers in the United Kingdom. Traffic to this site is encrypted in transit. Where a supplier processes data outside the UK, we rely on adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses.
